Dr Peter Bouboulos BDS (Syd Uni)
Dr Peter Bouboulos graduated from Sydney University in 1995. Throughout his undergraduate course Peter received many academic awards showing proficiency
in Clinical Dentistry. He is a firm believer in continuing education and undertakes many courses every year, both here and abroad. This continuous
education allows Peter to offer his patients the latest advances in dentistry and provide the best of care.
Peter takes pride in offering gentle 'painless' treatment and is often mentioned on radio by one of Sydney's leading talk-back hosts who has coined
the phrase Painless Pete reflecting on his treatment.
Peter has the ability to relax even the most anxious patients in his care.
Peter's dental interests are in the fields of Implantology and Cosmetic Dentistry with a special interest in Dentofacial Orthopaedics in
pre-adolescent children. He is a member of numerous bodies in the fields of Implant Dentistry, Orthodontics and Advanced Restorative Dentistry.
Peter is a family man with a wife and three beautiful children. He enjoys participating and watching all sports, motor racing and spending time with his family.
He lives life to the fullest and believes that everyone on this earth has the right to be happy.
Dr Blanche Tsetong BDS Hons (Syd Uni)
Dr Blanche Tsetong graduated with honours from Sydney University in 1996. Since then she has worked in public health, both within Goodiwindi Hospital and the school dental services in Queensland, and within NSW Justice Health. Blanche provided both private and NHS dental care in Britain for 5 years.
Blanche is a firm believer in patient participation in their own healthcare. A general dental surgeon, Blanche is particularly interested in oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry and is one of the few privileged Australian dentists to be taught by Dr Newton Fahl, director of the Fahl Art & Science in Aesthetic Dentistry Institute, Brazil.
Blanche is passionate about the environment, community service and social justice. Blanche is a member of the State Emergency Service, she periodically works for Aboriginal Health and has worked for the ‘Filling the Gap’ Program in Cairns and volunteers in East Timor within Rotary International’s Maubara Dental Project. Over the past 2 years Blanche and the Shire Dental team have implemented changes to reduce the Practice’s carbon footprint.
Dr Vandana Katyal BDS (Syd Uni)
Dr Vandana Katyal has been practicing dentistry since she graduated from
Sydney University in 2001. She has gained invaluable experience working with
a varied patient base during positions she has held in the Gold Coast in
Queensland and Menai and Hunters Hill in NSW.
Her passion for aesthetic
dentistry has been ignited on joining the Shire Dental Centre where she
enjoys creating beautiful smiles.
Vandana has also been privileged to work
alongside a specialist orthodontist in Miranda and is now an accredited
Invisalign provider. Dr Katyal is currently enrolled in the Masters program in Clinical
Epidemiology at Sydney University and is very excited to be doing her review
of dental literature pertaining to local anaesthetics.
Vandana loves dancing and has trained extensively in Cuban and LA salsa for
the last 2 years. She has also pursued acting classes and theatre sports at
ACTT and NIDA. She is an active Starlight Children's Foundation volunteer
and helps in their Randwick express rooms and fundraisers.
